Platform Introduction

Pharmacokinetics is one of the main disciplines covering the whole process of drug development. Non-clinical pharmacokinetics mainly study the patterns of in vivo dynamic changes of drugs through in vitro and in vivo tests and radioisotope labelling to obtain basic pharmacokinetic parameters of drugs, elucidate the processes and characteristics of absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs to help better understand the relationship between in vivo exposure and efficacy/toxicity of drugs and to provide important guidance for the design and assessment of further non-clinical and clinical trials.

InnoStar provides a full range of services for IND, NDA/BLA related trials and studies in accordance with NMPA and FDA regulations. Drugs for approval include small molecule compounds, peptides, antibodies (monoclonal antibodies, bispecific and multi-specific antibodies, nanobodies, etc.), CGT products (immune cell therapy products, stem cell therapy products, oncolytic viruses, AAV vector gene therapy products, etc.), nucleic acid medicines, etc.

 

As one of the few companies in China capable of providing non-clinical and clinical pharmacokinetic studies by radioisotope-labelled compounds and in vivo imaging technology, InnoStar has a Class B radioactive site with the qualification to use 31 radioisotopes, including H-3, C-14, I-125, Zr-89, Tc-99m, F-18, Ga-68, Fe-59, Lu-177, etc. Radioisotope labelling of small molecule compounds can be carried out to obtain accurate mass balance results and metabolite ratios for non-clinical and clinical purposes. Micro-PET/MR in vivo imaging of large molecules/cellular products labelled with positron emitting nuclide can be carried out to determine in vivo dynamic distribution of large molecules/cellular products in non-clinical animals to compare the data obtained from the same animal. The data results are more reliable and can be directly used for translational clinical research.
